Preventive Head and Neck Cancer Consultation 80 €
Specialized Investigation of Swallowing including FEES 80 €
Minor surgical procedure (myringotomy, piercing, lingual frenulum incision, small skin/mucosa lesion removal, nasal bones reposition, nose bleed cautery, lenghty ear wax removal and other) 10 – 200 €
Extended perioperative care As agreed

 

Specialist Procedure Fees billed in addition to Consultation Fees

Transnasal videoendoscopy of ENT organs with recording and biofeedback as needed 10 €
Tympanometry 10 €
Surgical procedure performed in the hospital The fee is calculated by the hospital where the procedure is going to take place taking into consideration the type of anasthesia and the urgency of the procedure.

Our clinic has no affiliation with insurance providers. Prices may be increased up to 100% in case of an unusually long or difficult consultation. The price can be reduced up to 100% in selected cases.

This list of consultation fees has been agreed by the Healthcare Department od Bratislava Selfgoverning Region on Juty the 7th 2022.

In the clinic, he and his team are dedicated to bringing you an internationally acclaimed standard in the diagnosis and treatment of ENT diseases. Surgical procedures, should they be required, can be smoothly arranged in one of our partner hospitals.

Mr. Miroslav Tedla, MD, MPH, PhD

  • Graduated from the Medical School of Comenius University in Bratislava in 1999.
  • Practices otorhinolaryngology, since 2004 in a position of Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the ENT Department of Comenius University and the University Hospital in Bratislava, Slovakia.
  • Completed the specialization training in otorhinolaryngology in 2002 (level one) and 2005.
  • Took part in three month observership at the UPMC Pittsburgh in 2002 (Eugene Myers, Robert Ferris). From 2005-2006 Dr Tedla spent six months at the research fellowship/observership at the UPMC Pittsburgh (Eugene Myers, Ricardo Carrau).
  • Established the Clinic for Swallowing Disordes at the ENT department in Bratislava in 2006.
  • Between May 2009 and December 2009 Dr Tedla worked as a Trust Fellow at the ENT department in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Childrens Hospital in Sheffield, UK.
  • Dr Tedla defended his PhD thesis themed Diagnostics and Treatment of Swallowing Disorders in 2010.
  • From 2010- 2011 Dr Tedla undertook the prestigeous Post CCT Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical, Oncology, Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery in Coventry and Birmingham, UK, led by Hisham Mehanna.
  • In 2011 established the Clinic for Endocrine Surgery at the University ENT Department in Bratislava.
  • Between October 2012 and October 2015 Dr Tedla held a position of Consultant ENT/Head and Neck/Thyroid Surgeon at the UHCW Coventry, UK.
  • In 2013 he established the Joint Thyroid Clinic, encompassing an endocrine specialist and thyroid surgeon for patients with complex thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
  • Dr. Tedla covers a broad scope otorhinolaryngological disorders and diseases, subspecializing in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, salivary gland surgery, surgery of the voicebox, nose and paranasal sinus surgery as well as managing swallowing disorders.
  • His research interests are focused on the functional aspects of head and neck cancer treatment.
  • Dr Tedla has been invited to lecture at many international meetings - European ENT Congress, Barcelona 2011; World ENT Congress, Seoul 2013; European Expert at the IFHNOUS World Tour, Prague 2016; Winter Days of Laryngology, Crans Montana 2017; World ENT Congress, Paris 2017; European ENT Congress, Barcelona 2017; and the forthcoming Winter Days of Laryngology, Crans Montana 2018, European Laryngology Society meeting, London 2018 CEORL meeting, Brussels 2019.
  • Presented more than 100 lectures at regional, national and international courses and meetings.
  • Published more than 80 original publications (11 papers in Pubmed in last 5 years).
  • Dr. Tedla has authored 2 textbooks and 5 book chapters, whilst another 7 chapters and 3 books are being prepared for publication in the near future.
  • Since 2016, Dr Tedla has served as the Slovak Society of ORL and HNS representative at the UEMS section of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
  • Dr Tedla has been elected by the General Assembly of CEORL into its Presidential Council and starting October 2017 serves as the Treasurer-Elect of the CEORL- HNS. The Confederation of the European Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (CEORL- HNS) is a European body unifying the forces of EUFOS (46 National ENT societies), EAORL-HNS (15 European subspeciality societies) and the UEMS ORL Section and Board (the specialist section of the UEMS).
